All of our in-house engineering, design and project management talent is rated top 3% by our own exacting screening process. This screening reviews core competencies and actual, demonstrable experience. In 2015 we hired less than 3% of all applicants screened

80% of our industry clients worldwide speak English as their language of business. English language skills are essential to our employee’s interaction with colleagues and our industry clients. All of Aecho’s employee talent is tested for their English proficiency using TOEIC and IELTS testing.
If you don’t work well with others, if your skills in a team – delivering completed projects to demanding clients – on tight deadlines, then you aren’t going to make it at Aecho. We utilize the 344-item Personality Assessment Inventory (PAI) to assess the personalities of our employee talent to assure they meet the standards necessary to work in a team-oriented environment.
Skillset and Experience Review
We examine in detail the skillsets and specific-project experience of each engineer or design candidate, carefully probing for examples of their core-competencies and ability to solve problems in development. Our review and testing in this phase is the most exhaustive of any of the 6-steps of review.
Sample Projects Examination
We’ve developed an inventory of over 50 different test projects that need “development.” Candidates are assigned engineering/design tasks within the project to examine their real-world, real-time competencies. In addition to the evaluation of their technical skills, we look use these project examinations to assess their work ethic and professional standards.
In-Depth Personal Interviews
We talk to each candidate – in depth. Interviews are progressive, with three required to make the cut. Most don’t make it past their first interview. We look for the obvious with discussions or real-world engineering problems and how they’d tackle them. And we also look at the not-so-obvious: like punctuality and directness, interpersonal communication skills and their sense of well-being.
